Read the given answers first before you read the question.
This method really saves time because as you read the question you can put it in context of the answers.
Read GIPS. Stop. And then READ GIPS AGAIN. At least 30% of ethics was GIPS. And, oh yeah, for discontinued protfolios, they need to be listed for 5 years. Remember FIVE YEARS.
The best advantage you can give yourself is time. Make sure you have at least 2-3 weeks before the exam in which time you can take as many practice exams as possible. It does not matter how long you study, due to amount of material covered it is hard to remember the whole package. This can only be done through practice exams. Try to mix schweser stalla and so on. Also make sure to take at least a CFAI online exam.
Answer as many practice questions as you can, and thoroughly read the explanantions to the ones you get wrong, and the ones you aren't 100% on. Understand why you got each one right so you will never miss one like that again. Do this 5 or 6 thousand times and you will be fine.
