Two questions:
1) Is changing societies difficult once you’re a charterholder?
2) Is there any reason why I should change societies? My society is cheap 50 bucks per year compared to some others which cost 300+
Am I not invited to meetings at other societies? Are there any other tangible benefits?

I don’t know about other local societies, but NYSSA charges you more to attend events if you’re not an NYSSA member. I imagine there are many events that you aren’t even allowed to attend if you’re a member elsewhere.

^ Yeah, you gotta read the fine print. Better abandon the program and skip level 3. 50 bucks a year is killer.

:). the work ex approval form never had details of local society fees. i was happy and surprised to see work ex approval in 7 days.
