Quick question on the ID needed for the exam.

Is the UK driving licence (i.e the new DVLA picture card) eligible for the ID criteria because I have to send my passport off pretty soon because it expires not long after the exam and I have already booked my post-exam holiday.

Because the DVLA is an agency of the Government's Dept for Transport I presume I am ok?

Has anybody else sat the exam using their UK driving licence as ID instead of their passport?

I would send a mail to the local CFA society - they are more adequate to help you out on this rather crucial matter

Yes - it is a valid form of ID.

I used it for all my CFA exams in London (UK) to date.

Good luck with the exam and your passport renewal.
