The only point would be to see a boarderline pass / fail. This would provide some indication on the expected MPS… But overall you are right, it does not change the results, it just provides an indication on what to expect.

When results will flood in you would expect what MPS range would be, since Band 10 fail would indicate otherwise on Tuesday

That’s true, however knowing for instance that someone passed with an average of let’s say 60% or that someone failed at 55% would give you a bit the feeling where it might be…
