Anyone out there use the complete Stalla system (books, lectures, Passmaster) and fail Level I? Why? It seems like a pretty comprehensive system. I can't imagine following all of their recommendations for studying and still failing.

Just because you stated "used complete stella system" doesn't imply that material was actually understood to pass the exam.

Shoot, I've read cfa reading and schweser, yet if you give me a test right now, i'll get a nice little "FAIL"

yeah used the complete stalla system and failed i'm trying schweser this time around ...i find schweser to be more to the point ..

it doesnt matter what notes provider you use....as long as you study hard and know your stuff, you will pass...Schweser, Stalla, whatever...they are all more or less the same

Did you find all of the Stalla components too overwhelming (i.e., if you are already somewhat familiar with the material, you'd rather have the shorter summary)? If you could elaborate, that would be great. I've been using Stalla, and there is a tendency to get too caught up in the details.

True. Stalla sometimes goes on and on and on .....Schweser breaks it down by los....to the point not more not less ...

i think the only reason you'd fail using stalla is if you do not follow their instructions.

1. read the texts
2. do the classes
3. do the passmaster questions

Its not really whether you use schweser or stalla its about the time and effort you put into studying and preparing.
