I was curious as to if anyone on here thought it would be worthwhile to reuse the Schweiser notes from 2015 for 2016. I took Level I last June (2015) and failed with Bound 9, and was looking to cut some expenses and hopefully reuse the old Schweiser notes as much as possible. I’m not worried about 100% matching material but if you think it’s up around 80% that’d be great. Any insight is appreciated.

You can check what parts of the curriculum have changed on the CFAI website. Haven’t reviewed it but I doubt that there would be wholesale changes made to the LOS.
That said, you’ve already failed once. You’re paying the money to reregister for the exam, so for the sake of a couple of hundred more (peanuts in the scheme of the rest of your life) why would you risk it?

I also study Scheweser Notes of 2015 and I will appear in June, 2016. I have examined thorougly, and found 90% of the text is same. I must suggest you to visit CFA institue, they have already announced the changes in Syllabus, Just read LOS those have been changed and do not read those have been eliminated by the Institute.
I think reading of Scheseser Notes 2015 is not a bad idea. Go ahead…
