Does anyone have any of the Vault Finance Guides in PDF format? Do you find these useful?

i have them in book format....kinda expensive...but gives you some good information if you're in US.

Anyone have the pdf versions? Specifically, the Vault Guide to Leveraged Finance. Thanks.

I just bought guides to banking and financial services. They cost me 70 something big ones. The list is useful. The content is something you can get yourself by doing your own research especially now there is something called the Google.

For what its worth, I downloaded one of the PDF a few years back and there was some serious downloading and printing restrictions (I could only download it to my home computer and couldn't view it at work). Based on what I had to deal with it might be tough for someone to share the file with you.

I got the leveraged finance guide if you want....i can sell it...i'm done with it.....

how is the leveraged finance guide? is there stuff in there that you couldn't otherwise learn from google searches and IBD analyst training programs?

numi, how comprehensive is an IBD training program? i assume the basic topics are covered? a brief description would be appreciated.

they're quite comprehensive. most of what you learn, you do learn on the job and trial-by-fire, but the training material can be very rigorous and they cover a lot of topics in an 8-10 week period. also, you'd be amazed as to how much more thorough training at the big banks are.

for LBO, the basic topics are definitely covered, and then there is a lot of focus on modeling mechanics and key assumptions...something i am certain that the vault guides do not cover. you get practice from running the models yourself, but the training texts also do a good job explaining how you should approach modeling and how to think about valuation.

however, i would be interested in hearing what additional value the vault guides could contribute.
