Hi,
I am considering taking the CFA exam.
My career goal is to work at the intersection of "capitalism" and "development work". Amazingly enough even these two can be combined. The World Bank with IFC, or EMPEA - Emerging Markets Private Equity Association as well as CDC Fund and private equity funds focusing on emerging markets are potential future employer.
I know it is a long shot and rest assured I am doing my homework as in selfinitiative when searching for future emplyers but does anyone know about entry level positions in this field?
Has anyone got a friend's girlfriend's cousin who works for the Worldbank and is willing to tell me whether it is worthwile to take CFA for this career choice and knows someone who is looking for a new employe?
Any comment in this direction is highly appreciated!
