Don't worry about upsetting the recruiter. Remember, they are on commission-only sales: they can't pay their rent if they can't get you a job. They won't dump you or screw you over by telling your employer, unless you walk out of interviews or have a, "Screw You" attitude in every interview.

Remember, their job is to sell you to a prospective employer and they know you won't always match.
