Hi everyone.
I’m not sure whether something similar is already posted on this forum; nevertheless, I would appreciate you all to shed some light.
For those of you who have passed Level I, what are some stupid ways to study for it that will make you end up wasting time, money, missing out other good stuff, failing the exam, whatever, etc. I’m designing a game plan to study Level I and planning to take it in December. I have a full-time job, so I have gotta be cautious on how I spend my spare time wisely.
Thanks

read the kaplan schweser note can solve 90% of the exam, stupid to read the textbook directly.

Taking notes while you read is a waste of time, in my opinion.
I think that time is better spent reading each study session once, working through practice problems, identifying deficiencies, and then revisiting difficult topics (taking notes, if necessary).

I agree 100% with this–that is how I started at first and notes wind up being way too detailed–unlikely to be ever read again.

Chip - it took me 2 months to figure this out! I wish that I could turn the clock back to November. I have pages of notes that I will probably never revisit (time is probably better spent in the Qbank).

In my opinion, DOING the Qbank when working full time and with three-four months left in your hands is pretty stupid. The Q Bank didn’t test at the level that is required. It usually didn’t make me think. Things were so straightforward and the problems didn’t really reinforce concepts. Doing EOCs twice would have been more useful
