Going to work and keep checking AF/refreshing gmail…
Cant login to CFAI website from work though..
Good luck 010101..

thank you!!
at this stage I really want more a pass for my cfa… but i wouldn’t mind having both :)

Result will be out 5 PM my time.
I’ll set an alarm for the result time and keep checking out this forum…while my boss thinks that I am working hard

Result will be out 4 PM my time.. Not sure if I’m taking “half day off” to get in more sleep and arrive to work at 1 pm.

Will spend the day at the office. It is going to be super annoying though, because everybody around me a) got their charter already and b) knows the results are coming out. They are gonna be asking me every 5 minutes. Yay.

Results out 3pm my time. Calendar already booked with a ghost meeting. Have already reserved myself a booth at a dive bar where I know I would never meet any of my colleagues and I intend to get well hammered before opening my email.
Should I pass I will probably try and stay concious long enough to get myself a nice dinner somewhere later in the night. Should I fail I most likely be staying in my booth until I blackout.

You have a great plan! If UK was under 2 hours flight, I would have actually come down to join you….but alas!

I like this idea. Maybe I should do something similar. The worst part about being at work when results come in is that my colleague also took level 3, and it’s pretty likely she passed. The worst would be if she passed as a first-timer while I failed as a retaker.

Im unemployed so probably sleep all day. If I can’t sleep, I will keep watching movies to distract myself

Results come out at 4pm on my time
I have that interview in the morning but have to go back to office where I currently work in the afternoon.
work is pretty busy but I find it hard to concentrate. In my office there are two other CFA takers; both CFA II both failed. sorry for them. but all my friends outside work have passed their CFA II. I am the only CFA III taker so now there are a lot of eyes and pressure on me. If I could have a choice i would love to hide somewhere deathly quiet.
for the record i love all my friends but genuinelly dont wanna be part of their CFA III study group next year

Fortunately, I have a couple of meetings in the morning and in the afternoon. Will leave early and not open the CFAI email in the office. Results will be out at 4pm, so it will be a long day…

is it not 2pm for the UK? but thinking about it now, I’ve always received the emails at around 3.30pm so maybe I’ve been refreshing for an extra hour for no reason.
I have a ghost meeting in my calendar for most of the afternoon and I had been planning on sitting in a bar with my ipad and a pint waiting for the news but now I’ve got a client meeting 1st thing on Wednesday with a pre meeting at 8am so that plans gone.
Instead I’ll just have to sit at my desk and put up with everyone asking me about it all day.

missinglink, i like the way you think. I’m on NY time, so 9AM. I intend to be at least 3 Bloody Mary’s deep when that email sails into my inbox. And at a no-name bar in the suburbs where nobody will be there except for the usuals..ya know addicts, pimps, prostitutes, and ME!
Good news, order food. Bad news, skip the food and move over to tequilla.

… and just in case my colleagues forget, bloomberg will publish the passing rate (TOP) to remind everyone to ask me.

It’ll be 11pm here. I’ll be watching tv and hitting refresh every 5 seconds on my gmail account
