Hi all,
I’ve been studying since January and currently my routine consists of reading the schweser notes, answering the end of chapter concept checks along with the CFA book practice questions at the end of each chapter. Finally I will answer about 20 questions in the Schweser Qbank. I wash, rinse and repeat this routine every chapter and so far I’ve been scoring reasonably well (about 80-90%) after each chapter but my big worry is that there is so much information I’ll quickly forget about everything I learned a month ago.
Is this a similar routine for everyone else? Do you integrate past chapters back into your studies on a consistent basis? How is everyone else going about studying for the exam?
Appreciate any feedback

Great ! Super, Even I am doing the same , and same way I am forgetting the old topics which I have finished long back, but after I finished with my all readings , I will do a quick review and start model tests , that is the only way to remember everthing together .
By the way, How many subjects you have finished ,
And let see how seniors give the feedback

What I am currently doing is taking notes as I go along. A reading summarized to around eight pages. I review regularly and do the tests sporadically. Get around 75% and above. Does anyone make notes of their readings. What’s your experience? Thanks

I’m currently halfway through Financial Reporting & Analysis. Its difficult to memorize the formulas from Quant Methods and Economics though when your not actively studying for that section. I create flashcards while studying each section so I can quickly flip back and review for 10-15min each day while I continue to work through FR&A but there’s obviously so much material I feel like it fades quickly from my memory

-Read Schweser notes
-Take notes and check off every LOS after completion
-EOC Schweser questions
-Qbank questions based off SS
-CFAI mock exam questions
-Move on to next SS and at the end of the week and re-test previous SS knowledge.
I try to study 3x times during the week for 4 hrs and do 2x 6-7hr study sessions on the weekends.

The only thing I’d add is the importance of repeating practice problems as you go along. If you do quant and don’t revisit it for three months, there’s a high probability that a lot of the hard work you’ve done will have needlessly evaporated.
