one way to check would be to see if it would be approved by CFAI as required work experience for the charter...but based on the few things you said I doubt it would
could you post more details so that we can help evaluating...

Job description for a role in the FX side as a product controller

Analysis of skew pricing adjustments for FX options
Ad hoc skewed valuations for clients
Assist in the preparation of Inter-company reconciliations
Production and reporting of spot-vol matrices
Responsibility for the completeness & integrity of all financial data relating to FX Options as it appears in the General Ledger.

currently i'm a reg analyst in credit risk

thanks for the help guys!

any thoughts on the above job role, is it a good way to move into PM position in the future

I am not certain if the above job descrition would be accepted as CFA work experience as I dont know the product controller area as well, can someone else help out pls

if its not accepted I would rather not moce until I find one that suits
how long have u been in ur current role Patel?
in ur current role, do ppl evolve and how?

I'd assume that job would qualify for CFA experience. Try calling CFAI and asking them.

in my current role there is no ppl involved.....clients are internal ppl...i.e. heads
