why don’t you tell us how you *really* feel?

BA in Economics its from Illinois though, maybe thats why i havent used it yet…
It wouldve been a BS but that year they switched Econ out of the business school and gave it to Liberal Arts College.
Its interesting because i took a course in applied econometrics and alot of it was about reducing risk and explaining beta. Never thought i’d see it again, but sure enough, it was under portfolio management.

I thought everyone went to college to make it easier to get a job? Who goes for intellectual curiosity? I’m trying to get paid son.
Oh, BBA Finance as well.
Sincerely yours,
Plebe

LOL. At least you have a sense of humor about it.

Mr. Journalist?? I am not a journalist. In college, I did think I would become one. Some people I know think it’s a tragedy I didn’t. Incidentally, my mother is at the LA Times and my brother is at 60 Minutes….

Plebe is fun to say. Makes me want to walk down the halls of a high school in a leather jacket, unlit cig hanging from my lip and push some nerdy freshman into a locker and say, “Why don’tcha watch where you’re walking ya plebe.”
7 minutes until closing, I’m daydreaming.

BA History
I wrote my senior essay on Edouard Daladier and interwar diplomacy 1932-1936… I was also a Russian department rat. Started too late to double major though.

As an undergrad, I did a double major in physics and government (now called political science).

Danteshek, you still haven’t explained why finance majors are “plebes.” Is there something you do that makes you so much less “plebeian” than all those finance majors out there?
