I don’t like it when I have to ask basic questions, but I really searched on google and found nothing on this.
What does it mean when a job opening says that a candidate has to “ Develop and adjust pitching documents” ?
And job is associate level in IB institution.
Those who have experience, please help.
Thank you

It’s a powerpoint or word document used to “pitch” management of a company for your banking services. Typically investment banks will create these presentations outlining valuation and marketing strategy in what is called a bake off. These “pitch books” contain all the info and are prepared by the analysts and associates in excruciating detail. Meanwhile, the deal ends up going to the MD who knows management best or who played golf with him the week before.

you will either be making (developing) or analyzing (adjusting) the pitchbooks made by ibankers/pe firms regarding their client/investment company.
nothing crazy - don’t look too deep into the words. google “pitchbooks” and you will have a better understanding.
