What is the Pass Rate?

I'd say 35%.

Plenty of canddiates only used the CFAI curriculm since it was included. I'm also convinced that due to a record number of exam takers this June, more people were not as prepared. http://www.analystforum.com/042208.shtml

But, the CFAI likes to keep a steady pass rate with a small variance from year to year for the most part.

Is this supposed to be a positive or a negative? I feel like only CFAI lowers your chances.

I killed it using only the CFAI books. I would say there are a lot of people out there not studying enough, which could be a result of the charter's growing popularity.

Not quite a historic low, but very low no less.
