What next after CFA?

I’d advise against prep classes for the GMAT. There is really no body of knowledge that they are going to teach you and the tricks really are just a matter of recognizing which method to use (eg, many of the triangle/polygon area problems can be solved by adding a new point to the diagram). The grammar section comes down fundamentally to 20 - 30 rules that you can learn to recognize through practice tests.
If I were you I’d spend my prep dollars on a set of online practice tests. If after doing half a dozen or do, you feel like there is some areas that you aren’t getting, maybe consider a prep course at that point.
 
Well GMAT is a very diff exam versus the Cfa.
the score you get is hardly marginally dependent on the time you spent studying, at least for me, compared to cfa . Very intelligent and tricky exam . It’s a test on your Iq and logic I’d say ( I know there are some folks who improved from 600 to 750 by some miraculous classes and hardcore studying but I honestly don’t believ that’s the purpose of the exam )
But like some other folks also say , anyone that can understand cfa should have a very above average intelligence for the math and logical reasoning tested on the GMAT .
700 is drawing from my personal experience and I think I’m just an above average candidate for cfa ( poor gpa , non target school, because frankly we all know the real Ivy League bulge bracket investment bankers aren’t counting on this to make the back office to front office move or make their resume less sulky and have the money and pedigree to do a good mba)
of course some of them still do it but they don’t make the bulk of the candidates
i suspect GMAT has a a way wider audience than cfa ( I’m easily in 90 percentile ) and it’s not something you should study 500 hours for .
So i guess it really comes down to exam day performance for GMAT.
I have a 730 if you wanna know . I believe I can get a 750 and above if j wanna throw a few more hundred bucks at them , not by more studying . It’s a tricky exam like I said
