What was the most difficult section in Level 1 on exam day?

Agreed. Also one area where i thought the Schweser questions weren't really reflective of the real thing.

Mojo, in what way would you say the Schweser questions differed from the exam questions?

Well to be fair i think the morning pretty much matched up to my expectations but the afternoon session just slayed me. Think it was a combination of the double part questions and the endless least likely or most likely in scenarios where every standard listed had been broken. I would definitely say that i didn't put enough work in to that section but that's partly because the lowest mark i ever got on a schweser test for ethics was 68% and so I ended up concentrating more on areas where i didn't score so highly. Obviously this was a mistake as ethics was my lowest score. However PM where i only once scored above 50% on Schweser i got over 70% for so.....

econ had the most 2 part questions where I'd know one part cold but the other one i was banging my head against the table trying to remember if interest rates do this, money supply does this, etc... the format with the 2 parters was tough.

ethics was hard, but mostly shame on me sort of stuff for not reading the handbook a bit harder (especially the examples) before the test. GIPS is a memorization thing- luckily I knew those cold.

FSA I thought was easy vs the practice questions I had been doing, but if there's one area you seriously have to know and know cold, this is the one to study most.

thought the PM, derivatives, alt asset q's were all not bad at all... pretty textbook stuff.

banni, what FSA practice questions did you do? I know you're a fan of the Q-bank, but are the questions there comparable in difficulty to the real thing? I thought they were a bit easier. I know you also did BSAS and book 6, anything else? Were those tougher than the exam?

thanks.
