Here’s what it is for CFA Level 1-
Schweser +Cfai EOC + Qbank + Practice Exams = Pass
Is it the same for CFA Level 2?

Study!!!!!!!!
any method ,any way is good if u understand the concepts !!!!

Welll….. I would trust the blue example boxes in the curriculum a lot. None of the Shweser questions contain that much of depth.
If you are studying with the schweser my advice is attempt the blue example boxes in the CFAI curriculum after reading the Shweser. If you undersrtand those examples you are fine… If not you are definitely in trouble.
Also recent L2 exams have not been that straightforward and they test some of the minute details which you only find in these blue example boxes I feel
So good luck….. remember to do the mock exam. If you have gone throught the blue example boxes you will very well realise that most of the questions are drawn from them… same theory for the real exam as well

pretty unlikely anyone here is going to give you a direct formula for passing b/c everyone studys/learns differently. however, your method (Schweser +Cfai EOC + Qbank + Practice Exams = Pass) is what i did and i passed (mocks were in the 68 - 75 range).

Schweser + EOC + Practice Exams + Cfai mock exams, definitely a lot of practices especially during the last month leading to the exam.. I have good short-term memory, that helps :D

weight square x variance+weight square x variance+2 x weight x weight x cov.

study so hard that you dream every night about it
I agree. You’re almost ready when you dream about it every night and get the right answers in your dreams..

nah, u gotta sleep with 3 HCBs before the exam
In that case, pass rate would drop to something like 1% or 2% unless money is involved.

Everyone is different. I’d say the one thing most people agree on is to start early and understand the formulas, not just memorize them.

Haha, what ever happened to that guy? He was basically spamming every thread three months ago.

Study from CFAI for heavy weights such as Equity, FRA, Ethics, CF,FI,PM. If not possible then read from schweser/ Elan & then do all EOC & BB from CFAI for all above sunjects atleast twice.
In the end practice as many mocks as possible, I have found Konvexity Sectional test really usefull.
