What's your confidence level for the exam?

Confidence is key to nailing the exam. If you put in the necessary time, you studied the material, you are a regular visitor to AF, etc. etc., the chances are you really care about passing this exam. Your performance will reflect this. Despite what your mock scores might be, you are in a great position to pass this test. The real exam is several degrees easier and more straightforward than the CFAI and Schweser mocks (strictly my own judgment call). Last year I was really worried about passing and I smoked it, scored > 70% in all sections except Econ.
You know a lot more than you think you do - don’t lose the faith now. Show up on test day, don’t freak out under the stress, and nail it. Remain confident and tough, be sure of yourselves, and you should have a successful experience.

I’ve just attempted the cfa mock exam and i’ve really done badly in it … 68% in both exams. I’ve taken two weeks off for preparation but judging by the scores, i’ll be better off to work. Really starting to freak out now.
 
With full-time studying over the next nine days, you’ll be in pretty good shape. I took the CFAI mock weeks ago so that I knew which topics needed further coverage with plenty of time to spare. Take the information you got from the mock, and use it to your advantage for more focused studying. You can easily add another 50 hours of studying over the course of nine days if you take it easy! Imagine how much more comfortable you’ll be with your weak points after anywhere from 60-100 more hours!
 
have you attempted mock exams? what are your scores? and what are your best and the worst areas? my best has to be alternative investments+portfolio … worst has to FRA and CF (yes CF … i thought it was one of my strongest) … ethics and quants fall somewhere in between no of wrong answers i’d in each of the section of the last mock i took are
Ethics … 3/18 (3 wrong of 18)
Quants … 3/14
Eon … 5/14
FRA … 9/22
CF … 5/9
Equities … 7/21
Derivatives …2/6
Fixed Income … 5/11
and Finally Portfolio and Alternative investments … 1/12
I’d to guess 10-15 of the questions of which i’d no clue … beat that!!!
 
Don’t freak out if your scoring 65% to 70% on the exam or then you will really fail the exam. I’ve heard so many times that the actual exam is easier than the mocks but the people who are averaging 65%-70% don’t fail because of the difficulty of the exam but fail because they are so nervous and miss so many easy points because they were thinking that if they had a 70% on the exam they were not going to pass. Don’t let the mocks determine how you are going to take the exam. Like I read above confidence is a really important factor here.
 
I’ve been gettin high 60’s on my practice exams, some I get 80’s like for the topics I really enjoy, or mid 70s. Anything below 65% for me and it’s back to the drawing board
