Totally screwed up AM with skipping 3 whole question parts because of failing time management. Some days of panic with other things related to money, family etc.. have gone away. The fact that I would pass CFA Level III exam is not a final destination itself definitely in my life. What’s your next level in this financial battle field after completing thi CFA Program? for what?, just curious.. Thanks all.

I’m sure this is a common question asked, but hopefully to gain leverage in your search within the field of finance. Though I know of many people who simply want to finish what they started, as they desired to take the exam just for the challenge.
For me it’s both, I want to gain more credibility, knowledge and ultimately, to be a better steward in serving my clients. A little extra dough does help too, but that certainly isn’t a primary goal.

Going to law school next year, finally Sept 2017 (hopefully) WOOT WOOT.

Nothing. I’ll try to invest 10% of the time I invested in the CFA on working harder, and another 10% on networking.

Actually going to the gym and get myself in better shape so that I don’t spend the extra dough I earn, after I complete CFA, on medical bills!

I’m debating whether or not to get serious about running. Thinking of a marathon, playing with the idea of doing an iron man (swimming is a weak area for me, but I’m solid on the bike).
I want to start learning more about programming as well. Related note, I’m thinking of picking up a machine learning book or taking one of those online classes.
Right now, I’m really enjoying my transition into books I personally want to read. Going through some strategy books in the evening (caught up on GoT last week). Life is an open road right now and it feels really damn good.

Wife is due in September so Dad 101. Wouldn’t mind getting FRM out of the way. And I’m curious about GMAT/LSAT. I work in commercial real estate and legal knowledge/expertise is highly valued in addition to the finance/quant stuff.

^ Congratulations on the kid.
As for me, I want to read books I want to read and of course, getting my fitness up again.

Thanks @hei.so. Yeah, books and gym too. Finally got back to the gym on Monday for the first time in months! Feels great to be human again.

gym. im at 187 right now, i am targeting 170 by july 15, but am expecting 175.

Riding my bike, going to the gym.
New hobby of hand engraving and hand printing fine stationary for friends and family.

writing FRM level 2 in November anyone else?
Yup, I am too…I’m actually wondering whether it may be worthwhile doing CAIA level 1 in September then FRM part 2 in November. I want to do all three eventually and think getting them out of the way as fast as possible may be the way to go. Getting sick of all this studying…

Do you really think there’s value in pursuing all those three. I just threw the idea of starting FRM and some seniors discouraged that at office. I am in real estate, PE and alternatives (may take on public markets as well at some time in future).
