I’m a current second year economics major, and am interested in getting my CFA charter eventually. I’m a little confused on when I can register and take it however. I’ve heard in the final year of my undergrad degree I can, but not sure how true this is? Would this be in December of 2018? As I’ll be entering my final year in 2018 and graduating in the summer of 2019. Also, does this mean I can register for it in January of 2018? Thanks

I would think you can register for Level 1 in the summer of 2018 since that would be the final year. You can email the CFA Institute to clarify but that seems to be the case based on the registration requirements.
“Undergraduate education: A bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree or be in the final year of your bachelor’s degree program (when you register for the Level II exam, you will be required to update your education information),”
