When can we use the letters?

Like everyone else who survived this journey I’m anxious to start putting the letters on everything in sight. Any idea how cfai communicates it’s ok to use the designation?
 
When you log into your account, check your name in the top right corner. Or search your name in the CFAI member directory. If you have already joined the institute/local society and had work experienced approved, you should have already been awarded the charter. I was awarded it on August 11, but did not get any sort of email or notification. If you see the designation there, you are good to go!

Thanks. I logged in to CFAI website and now could see the 3 letters in front of my name..!! My membership was accepted couple months back. So i just had to pass L3 and pay the dues to receive the charter.
 
If you see the 3 letters in front of your name than you are not a charterholder yet. It should be following your name.

Yes i mean i see the letters following my name. I could also find myself in search result of Member Directory and see that my charter was awarded on Aug 11.
