I am anxious to learn where I could have done better. Only then I will have the confidence to give advices to next years’ candidates.

Shut it you passed
Only through sheer luck I passed. When I walked out of the exam I believed I must have score at least 80% on the essay. The score matrix I got back indicated I scored around 60%. I did only marginally better in the PM section. One or two more wrong answers and I would have failed.
To date I am still not convinced I performed so bad on the essays.
A couple of my friends were not so lucky. I am determined to help them pass next year so we can finally burn our CFA books in a wonderful beach bonfire.

I passed and am very curious to see what the model responses look like.
I want to see these, but also my own responses. I would love to compare. It’s obvious why they can’t release them, but I’m doubting my ability to remember the information I was retaining that week.
My brain felt like an orange. I was growing on a tree for a while, and was very ripe that week before the test. Suddenly, I was picked from the tree, took the test, and all the juice was squeezed out of me. Since then, there’s no OJ left.
I walked away with some concepts, sure, and a better appreciation for certain topics, but it wouldn’t take much for someone to run circles around me on the topics today.

I cannot remember the questions or my answers at all even now. So by the time it is released, I will have no idea how they compare to my answers.

This is the true nature of America’s education system today. Those who can memorize a great deal of unrelated material in short amount of time get to climb up the pyramid.
Harvard business school is different. 50% of your class grade depends on your verbal contribution during lecture. You have better think quick on your feet or you may flunk the class. No, grades don’t matter after you get your MBA but in Harvard, but they do kick out 3 to 4 percent of the lowest performing 1-year students.
