Hi Folks,
Where did you get your practice questions for FRM Part I? I have seen people saying that the Schweser QBank questions are not even close to the real exam questions in terms of level of difficulty. But I notice that BT doesn’t offer many practice questions.
So how do you find practice questions other than those in Handbook that are comparable to the real thing? Thanks.

GARP. One practice paper is free and I think you can buy more but you’d better check.

With all due respect, this is not true about our questions. We currently have more than 2,000 FRM practice questions. I would expect that we have the largest database of FRM questions.
But quantity isn’t everything (as many candidates don’t have the time to do all of our practice questions).
1. Relevance is important, too: many databases contain recycled and stale questions. Questions get stale fast in the FRM. To my knowledge, we are the only provider that adds to our PQ database on a DAILY basis. See [link removed]/ and, you can see that trail: I write 4-8 questions per day against the FRESH AIMs (2011). For example, I am certain we have the deepest set devoted to the “current issues:” recycling stale questions or CFA questions won’t get you this kind of relevance
3. Quality and depth is important, too: we have entire sets of boot-camp type questions that deliberately go a notch above the exam. After each exam, you can always read feedback about candidates who were surprised to find exam questions that were more difficult than the questions they practiced on. While we ain’t perfect, i don’t think we’ve ever gotten this criticism.
I hope that adds some balance to perspective above (I’ll compare the quantity, relevance and depth of our questions to any of our competitors, anytime).
Thanks, David Harper, founder

Just to add I am currently using Schweser and am a little concerned about the difficulty of the questions. In terms of quantity there’s about 2,000 questions (1000 for each Part). In fairness I’ve only run through 100 or so question so far.
