Hi all,
I have a couple questions:
1. I know that candidates are not allowed to carry scratch paper inside the examination hall. BUT, is any sort of scratch paper provided by the CFAI? If yes is there a limit on the number of pages. If no, how are we supposed to work through our calculations other in our minds?

2. I will be starting Study Session 12 tomorrow, so I am a "little" behind most of you guys here, so pardon my ignorance :)
Which sample exams are the best? I am planning to do the Schweser Pro CD questions and the free CFAI exams.
Are there any other exams you guys would recommend? If you could share your practice exam plan (i.e. which exams, how you use SchweserPro) etc that will be great.

No scratch paper is provided. However, don't worry. This was a big concern to me as well, because I scribble all over the place when working out problems. If they give you a problem that might take a lot of writing, such as a multi-stage DDM question, they'll only put 1 or 2 questions on that page, thus leaving PLENTY of blank space on that page for writing. I know it's hard, but do not worry about scratch paper.

I thought the L1 schweserpro exams weren't that good, but Schweser book 6 was good.

Chicago White Sox rule the AL Central.

Thanks exemplaria. So we are allowed to write on the question paper? That's good to know. I can't imagine answering some of those questions without a lot of scribbling :)
