I am sitting in Dec 08 and just received my Schweser books yesterday. After looking around on this site I've noticed that many people don't do the books in order. What do you all think would be the best way to go.
About me: I am a senior in college studying finance, so I've had exposure to corp finance, financial statements, some fixed income. I've had some overview on a lot of this stuff.

Thanks for the input!

Plan: Quant, Portfolio Management, Corporate Finance, Equity, Fixed Income, Deriv & Alt Investments, Econ, FSA and lastly Ethics.

Justification: Starting wit Quant helps you on the subsequent books and saving FSA and Ethics lets me keep fresh the most important books in CFA I test fresh for the exam.

i do agree with above post by kudrinketh.....i followed the exact steps..finally reached comfortably at Econ...
if you dont have any finance backgrounds then follow the same..it will work
