Hello,
I just signed up today for CFA level 1 for the forthcoming June session.
I would like to start by the most transverse topic since it will make it easier for the following. And I heard Equity investments is the most transverse one ; would you agree with this ?
I would then follow on with FAR I reckon..
Thanks in advance.

Depends on your background – I think quantitative methods is fairly foundational, but if you have a good background in statistics/probability then maybe less so (and it is easy to bog down there as a Candidate).

I went in order, except I started with Quant and ended with ethics. I feel like starting with quant gives a good foundation. I’d strongly recommend finishing with ethics, because it is 1) Very important, and 2) Almost entirely memorization. Reducing the amount of time between learning ethics and the test is a good thing.

Pick one; for the most part, they’re independent.
Without a strong preference, there’s nothing wrong with starting with Study Session 1 and working through Study Session 18 in numerical order.
