Why did you choose a career in Finance?

Because my brother made 75k at a discount brokerage (overtime mostly) in 1999 in his first year out of college. I didn’t know the first thing about finance (BIO major) but I figured if you could make that kind of money right off the bat imagine what you could pull in with a few years of experience. After comparing that with something in medicine (prob not a doctor maybe a PA) – I decided to go for finance.
Still not sure if I made the right decision.

True, but it’s a lot easier to get a job when you don’t have to spend a couple of minutes trying to explain your major.
