So apparently I got a job as a licensed investment representative at TD direct investing. My job is to pretty much execute stock, bond, mutual funds and derivative orders on the system. I will not be giving any advice to clients but merely answer their questions. For example they may ask what is the best rate on a GIC right now and who is issuing it.
Just wanted to get an idea if CFA institute would consider this a valid experience. I’m actually licensed under IIROC which is the investment regulatory organization of Canada.
