Work Ex is approved by CFAI Recently - Please post the days it took

If you only apply now, you will probably be approved faster than everyone who sent in their application as soon as the results were out. Here’s my timeline:
August 12 - sent application
August 18 - work experienced approved
August 21 - CFA society + local society approved - got charter
I never saw a status where I was waiting for the local society approval. It looks like Swiss CFA society approved instantly after CFAI.

Thanks for sharing this - it’s good to see that the approval times are shortening compared to the mid August submissions that others have posted timing for.
 
Just got my society approval, paid my dues and am now a CFA Charterholder!
This forum has been a great source of knowledge (and entertainment) to me over the past 5 years. Thanks to all the regulars on here and I wish all of you the best with your future endeavors.

Just got my CFA Institute work experience approval (website only, not email yet) and have to say that I’m very relieved. They approved all of the months that I had submitted. I’m hoping that my status on the application process gets updated soon so I can start using the letters :)

Thank you! What a relief.
I was an affiliate member before and so I need to have my membership status changed. It hasn’t changed yet and I don’t have a Decision Days Remaining countdown listed.
Update: All done! I never saw a “decision days remaining” number though. I got the email today saying that I got the charter. Analystforum (especially s2kmagician) was very helpful in the whole process and I can’t thank them or Kaplan for the Schweser materials enough. It’s great to have the charter :)
 
Looks like I have the record for longest approval process. Submitted Aug 14th and now finally just waiting on local society approval…still don’t have the charter!

7 total days to have local society approval
