I can’t remember where…. but for individual IPS questions… Are there situations when they tell you a holding as a cost basis of XX and then you need to figure out what the net amount will be in figuring out the return objective?
I know you would msot likely need to list this under liquidity also… but cant seem to remember where i saw/did this a question like this.

I remember seeing, but can’t recall seeing exampels where a individual IPS question had information about the cost basis to a persons investments that should be included in their investment base….. can’t seem to find where it is though..

The place to ask this question is at Marc Lefevbre’s boot camp, where he tricks out the IPS in a way that you get it every time, all the time.
The boot camp starts tomorrow …bring your credit card and beg your way in …

are you referring to reading 10 with all the future value factors considering several different tax scenarios and with a different cost basis? Or are you referring to the concentrated position reading where an entrepreneur essentially has a zero cost basis in the value of his business and is looking to monetize his position and not trigger a huge tax liability?

i believe the latter…
ill look tomorrow, but i think in the IPS calculation, you had to calculate the net amount someone would get back after selling a part of his shares (using the cost basis in the calc)
