Hi guys

I have regsitered for dec level 1. and have not even started the preparations till now. I have a job which takes around 12-13 hours of my day. But I just joined the forum and am shocked to see the status of eveyone's preparation.

I am just confused with the range of material available. Schweser, stella and CFA curriculum. I dont have enough time so would only go through one of them. I also know we have many many sources for practice exams and questions. Please someone help me with which one to buy stella , schweser or cfa books. and what for the pratice.

Please name one of these which I should buy and go through in the time I have till dec for the study plus pratice.
One more thing, are the ebooks in pdf format given by shweser and stella equivalent to the stufy material they send in hard copy?

Thanks a lot. I am just clueless about where to start and really wanna start asap.

I am using Shweser and I find they are sufficient. I am using the e-books and yes they are simply the digital format of the hard copies. There is alot of material, so start asap and good luck!

it is stalla not stella.... i personally use stalla and like it because i can watch lectures on cd and the passwaster software is good... do a search on the forum this has been heavily debated

Schweser video cd's. Period.

Trust me, based on your time constraints it's your best shot.

Note: deucefranchise is referencing what sounds like a similar Stalla product. I can't say which of the two is better, but use the video CD's as a foundation, take tons of notes off of the CD's, pause and look up anything that you don't understand, do practice problems along the way on complex topics and do practice exams and review the week before the test.

I have the STalla lectures adn I like them, I have heard that they are much better than the Schweser format.
