3 days after the exam, my brain’s itching to study something. I’m so used to having things to study, it’s like I need it. I can’t wait until August to start level 3. I…. need it…………………… Good thing I’m taking a 3 week long first aid course in July. I’ll get my books for that next week and that should tide me over.
OH CFA.. I need you..

Ridiculous, isn’t it? I am suffering from a SERIOUS ‘postnatal depression’ too, and to make it worse, I dont even know if the baby’ll stay alive, not for another 6 weeks! Ughhhh…

correct! it seems all so boring and empty all of a sudden. kinda liked that rush and that constant ‘i’m running out of time, and so much to study, omg’ feeling that prevailed until the night before the exam.

learn chinese, you’ll need to at the rate the world economies are going

WayneINTJ what do you do for a living? Assuming it’s not ER or IBD, learn modeling, learn how to value companies.

i usually experience that feeling, but not this year. 2012 has been a doozy in more ways than just CFA, so resting my brain is NOT a problem.

Major withdrawal, feel like a complete loon. Signed up for marathon training to keep the mind and body busy with something else…also considering enrolling in trapeze school.

I am in the same boat… feel like I should be more productive with my time! All this relaxing is making me crave the studying… How sad! You can never be happy, lol… When I was studying I wanted it to be over and now that it’s over I want to study again…

I had a laundry list of things to do both at home and at work. The last three days have been jam packed with errands and getting things done. The only day I was unproductive was Sunday, which was spent detoxing from all the alcohol I drank after the exam. I do feel the withdrawal but I’m doing my best to make up for it. I am sleeping SO MUCH better now though.

I don’t have a job, and I don’t exactly know what job I want. I don’t know what ER and IBD is, but what do you mean by ‘modelling’ and learning to value companies? I thought I just learned to value companies O_o

LOL just when I feel like what I’m feeling is really weird/bizarre, a lot of others who are through similar experiences feel the same way. I thought this must be the case, since so many others shared my feelings of burnout before. The exception was my obsessiveness/paranoia.
I also like when others share the same sentiments as I on the exam, like feeling as though some questions were “too easy” and that they must have missed something. There is uniformity among humans! The part where many people found the exam wording to be confusing baffles me though.
I also feel like I’m in lazy mode, and that I need to take some time to be in lazy mode. Mixed feelings :D I can start on L3 as soon as I get my results. So in 2 short months it’ll be time to begin another big push. The most efficient thing I can do is rest and relax for a couple months so that I’ll be fresh and ready by August. It’s like the rest that I’m taking now is supporting my L3 efforts. FYI if you pass, start L3 in August. Do it! Do it!

Same here :) Thankfully, I still have one exam at the university and tomorrow I am starting cramming for it. Hooray!:)
