I used Schweser, I also bought the Schweser Video CDs. The Videos were great, they were not comprehensive, but really supplemented my study. I used them to run over sections that I concidered that I understood - if I understood and could follow the video, I didnt bother reading the Schweser text. For instance I didnt use the text for Economics. This mean that I was able to cover Economics in a few days (not incuding practice questions !). They also reinforced my understanding of section like FSA (Tough, tough section - but has to be understood)
With regard to Ethics, I read the standards handbook that I downloaded from the CFA website in Jan. I didnt revist before the exam. The only other work I did on ethics was practice questions 2 weeks before the exam. I tried not to over think Ethics. I kept it simple and it worked
My best and most used resource were practice papers and questions. I sat mock exams 3 and 2 weeks before match day. First I sat BSAS and then BPP (I failed both - badly !). I would highly recommend sitting an exam in exam conditons before you sit the real thing. This helped me with timing and exam technique etc. One week before the exam I printed a number of example exams, I worked through these in 1.5 hr sessions. Going into the exam I was averaging approx 70% in these
Hope this is of some use. Good luck for December !!
