the proctor should've tore up his exam right in front of him and screamed at him to get out

I wish we had a lot of unprepared people so we can have better chance to pass.

Anyway, a guys sitting next to me was the same guy sitting next to me in June! I just couldn't believe it until we talked. We both think each other looks familiar. That was fun! I told him I don't want to see him again in June on level I.

We had a candaidate reported by the proctor as he opened the exam book seal before being instructed to do so. Ironically, he was a sure-shot pass student as was getting upwards of 80 per cent in all mocks in the prep. Poor silly guy...

Does this matter? I thought it was only the top 1% of test takers who affect the MPS?

Had quite of an adventure on my way to test center. Saturday morning marked a start of a major construction on the main train line I take. Trains were re-routed and I was supposed to take a shuttle bus to a nearest station. Well, as messed up as NYC MTA system is, they topped themselves. The directions for bus shuttle were ambiguous and it seemed that shuttle drivers were not aware where they were supposed to go. Just like that they wasted me good 30 minutes.

I get to Manhattan and decide to take a cab as it starts getting dangerously close (about 8:45am). Naturally, every light is red, so when I actually do get to test center, still on time, I am just about to explode.

At Chelsea Piers center, some braniac decided that all cellphone should be kept in an unguarded box right by the exit. Does anyone else see a problem with that? Besides the fact that there are only so many models of BlackBerrys and IPhones on the market and couple of hundreds/thousands Level 1 candidates, any Joe Six-pack can pick up my phone and walk away. Thanks, but no thanks. So, pleasant me being in a cheery mood created by train/cab adventure, just start yelling at a proctor who attempted to take my phone away. Fcuk|ng dump idea. I am proud to say that my phone didn't end up in a surrender box :)

Other than that the test itself was incident free.

No joke!!!!! my poor friend who lives in Maryland google directions for the convention center in D.C...... he typed 7th street vermont avenue....... and google gave him directions for 7th street vermont avenue in VIRGINIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my poor friend went to the wrong address..... he traveled 46 mins outside washington d.c to the wrong address............ he quickly realized it was not the correct place.... an angel sent my the CFA gods gave him a ride from Alexandria virgnia to washington d.c to the convention center.... and because of her and i quote " was f'ing hotttt" mid 30s school teacher... he made it 15 minutes late.

at the end of the first session (remember since he was late) he did not enter his answers on the scantron but on the actual exam.. i think a proctor allowed him to fill in his answers..because she left bad or something.

what else happened..... but bumped into some high school friends!!!!!!!

I met a really annoying asian kid who kept putting me down for not knowing all the answers like he did.

the guy sitting two seats from me..... punched the table and walked out.

i didn't see any hot protors (i guess a good thing).

I accidently spilled a cut of water on a hot milfs' shoes....she touched my arm and said... "it's ok..... i'm nervous too"...... she lauged and walked away.

At our test centre, I think if you left early, a proctor would escort you to the personal belongings area. So that makes it quite safe for my stuff outside :D

Anyone take the exam in San Francisco?

In Zurich we had a police and fire brigade parade sounding their alarms or something passing the test center for like 5min. I didn't notice it that much because I was using ear plugs. The air condition was temporarily turned on as well, which apparently was so noisy, that they turned it off quite quickly.

Also, during the PM session a proctor took my watch away, no explanation what so ever. I totally freaked out about getting a PCP filing, not even knowing why. I stayed to finish the exam but I could not get the PCP issue off my head entirely. In Addition, not knowing how much time I spend on a question made me guess far more often than I liked. After the exam was over, they told me that my watch (a digital pocket watch, no alarms, with a stop function) was a prohibited item, and I already saw my name going to 200K finance professional. But since I showed my watch and got it approved when entering the testing area I was told that it was OK and they won't file anything. However, I ensured to get the address from the girl next to me as witness reference, just in case.

I only wonder why they had to scare me in such a way, if they were not to file anything in the first place? I am really between really glad that I didn't get a PCP filing and totally mad that they deprived me of my time management device and scared the hell out of me.

Is it advisable to file this as an "exam comment" via CFAI?

Next time I'll get a WRIST WATCH and show each FUNCTION to the proctors before starting the exam!

That's stupid man, I'd have hit one of the proctors on the head on my way out for being so ridiculously silly if I were you.
