@sooraj, Im still confused whether I should visit india or malaysia in september / october. Any suggestions

Hi would love to relax a little bit but I relax this week and then I have to look for new job opportunities, since in my current job in trading I do not have any perspective (niche desk, steep hierachie, no opportunity for promotion, since my company is decreasing its stuff, no base salary increases can be expected and therefore also limited bonus due to the bonus cap).

Mate I have never visited Malaysia, so I really dont know the answer. But I can definitely say India is a beautiful country and the variety you get in India is too good. (with my very limited exposure to countries though). Snow filled mountains in North, Pristine beaches in the east, Unmatched beauty of North east, Architectural diversity across the country - so you should definitely visit India in September/October mate. Best climate to visit the country as well :) I accept though that my views could be a little biased as an Indian.
Would be very Happy to help you with planning an itinerary mate :)

@sooraj, Thanks loads for the help mate. Will definitely ask for more info in late July after I confirm my destination cause I’m in deep need of a vacation.

workout, beach, a few theme parks, vegas, potentially big bear or columbia, then gmat. all going down 4th of july weekend and 2 weeks after. ^how old are you other gmat taker? also what study prep you using?

I’m 27 - I will be using Manhattan GMAT guides as well as their advanced quant guide. I’ve also purchased The Official Guide for the GMAT (often referred to as the OG). Also plan to use between five and seven computer adaptive tests.

@cgottuso8190 - how many months of prep do u think is needed for gmat ? what is your target score

I’m no expert on any of this - everyone is different. I plan to start studying in early-mid July and schedule the test for the second weekend in September. I’m aiming for one or two Round 1 applications and then two to four Round 2 applications. I just need my score to start with a 7 as I’m pretty confident in the rest of my profile.

Best wishes to you!

i dont get the gmat. there are 4 sections. but the total grade only cares about the quant and verbal. So can i just fail the other 2 sections then?

Thank God we have the world cup starting today, in addition to the Nba Finals (game 4 starting straight after the end of the football game).
Wished the world cup final would be ending on August 12 instead of July 12th

I took GMAT 4 years ago, so this format is new…there used to be two essays, looks like they replaced one of those with integrated reasoning. You absolutely cannot just fail the other 2 sections, they’re just graded separately. B-schools will still get those results, they just aren’t included in your 3-digit GMAT score.

Working like 14-15hrs per day. I think my boss is really waiting for my exam finished. So tired.
