DO NOT LET THIS GET YOU DOWN. I felt like sh*t last December when I failed, but pick yourself up, get crackin', and you will pass this test on the next run. Use this site. AF is the best resource possible.

Seriously, try not to get discouraged- you will pass soon and we all will be taking L2 in June. It takes hard work and you can do it.

Me too. I sucked it up last December with a big fat fail. I put in the time this go-around and passed. Be discouraged for a few days, question everything, but after a few days of a well deserved pity party, get back on the horse and ride it like it's your b#tch. YOU CAN DO IT! It sucks for the first few days, but there's another exam 4 months from now. Pass and you'll be on the same track as us, but the knowledge will be fresher in your memory. Don't give up!

I did not pass one section when I sat for the exam in December of 06. I passed every section this June. It's simply a matter of focus and commitment. I second the thoughts of banny and sportsfan above... you can do it!

Congrats Guys who passed. I failed...I guess 2 months study is not enough to crack this exam.....

I am going to start it again....I will see you in June 08 for Level II exam.

amen boston. the truth is that i'll probably start drinking tonight and not stop until you get your results for LI again next January, so we'll be even heading into LII next June!

Thanks Ilvino....But I knew it that I have an equal chance of fail after screwing up in Econ and Quants after exam.

I gave 2 month of my life (April and May) but I guess it wasnt enough. Now I will try with 4 months..I know all I have to do is Econ and Quants and I am in for 2008 Level II.

Its disappointing and hard to focus....:( First I was thinking not to post this and just run away from AF till next Jan when I'll know that I am pass.

Jamie..Whats up with Nola and Ruhi22?

NOLA passed- she'll post up.

you'll pass in dec- i have no doubts. we'll have a boston booze party next week after work to celebrate you registering for dec- do it now. you will rock it.

i am also a second timer that passed. DONT GIVE UP! i know it feels like sh*t, but even the studying is easier the second time around. you can do it.

Level 1: Fail

The table below illustrates your subject matter strengths and weaknesses. The three columns on the right are marked with asterisks to indicate your performance on each question or topic area.

i'm gonna have to pick it up big time in time for december...damn i got raped.

Yeah, il.

Thanks man. Congrats to you too.. You deserve it. Your post was one of the first i saw and i was happy for you. I had problems logging in so i didn't know that i had passed at that point. This makes it all worth it, doesn it, brother?

I am still completely numb. Hasn't really sunk in. Although I did manage to shoot out an email to the local CFA society asking for an LII scholarship next year!

Dont worry about it. It is A LOT easier the 2nd time around. and most importantly don't give up on AF... participating really works!! I am sure you will be sitting w/ us in June for L2.

Next time I will study for more than 3 months

Guys, anyways you guys put like 2 months of serious study might as well extend it for another 2 or 3 months.....you will be there...

I felt like S**t when I was studying...my friends were @#$%&...boss looked at me like a dog...I didn't care a bit...now I look at them like jokers... All it takes is a little commitment to put in 3 productive hrs everyday and most of the weekends... and importantly forgetting abt TV, Drinks, Party, Family, Friends, Movies, GF/BF(mmmm....), Vaccation, relaxation, temptation.....what more... (think that you have a short term memory problem for another 5 months and forget all these)...

Everyone who passed went thru' this S**T, all it takes is one straight 5 months, that you should give up and you will well on your way.

Make use of AF ..it one hell of a site.

Good luck next time...

and ditto that it's 100x easier the second time around studying, especially FSA I thought. all of those things that you kind of got the first time around will solidify as your re-read them now and in the long run, you probably will be better off later down the line than just eeking out a pass and not really understanding the material.

But the thing is even if you pass in Jan 08, you will have only 4 months for Level II and not a full year...so chances are you might fail in Level II.

I know many people do not start studying till Jan anyways for June exam but still..........

I have started hating myself

i hear you CFA boston.....

i dnt knw if i can do this again...its just so depressin
