I realize the question of how to get into IB has been answered over and over again but I can't seem to find an answer to my situation.
I have 3 years of experience working on the buy-side. Although my line of work does not entail performing financial statement analysis, I currently am involved in pm support and structuring support among other things. I have been looking to see how to go about applying to BB's for an analyst position. So far, I have only found info on recent college or grad school grads.
What are some of the venues of applying to BB's if you are an experience hire? Do you just apply to the undergrad program? Are mid-cap IB firms the only option I have? I would like to participate in an actual IB program if possible. Any help would be great.
