Hi All,
So i’m taking my L1 on Dec 1st. I think i’ve been doing okay and i’m reasonably confident that I’l lpass, that will obvisouly be dependant on the type of questions that come up. But i’ve been consistently getting 70% in 7 6hr mock exam that i’ve taken. I have 2 more 6 hour mocks to go through. and a week left….
I’m not sure whether to continue and do L2. Or start the FRM instead? I could do L1 and L2 FRM and be chartered this time next year.
I work in Credit, essentially MO role, analysis of financial statements and structuring of billarteral and syndicated debt deals for large corporate NBFIs. I’m quite interested in moving into another risk role as I find it more interesting.
That said, the CFA is much more recognized, but I would need 4 years in an investment role before being awarded any charter. I just think that given my experience, and the way the market is going, I won’t get a investment or equity research role….
Should I take the FRM in May? Or L2 in June?
thanks for your help guys!
