Work ex approval after applying on or after 13th august

Hi All,
Anybody here who got workex approval from CFAI after appying on/after 13th august ?
 
Submitted on the 19th and I can’t help myself from checking it, even though there’s no reason to believe it would be approved so quickly.
Should have done this 6 months ago. Stupid emotional biases…
 
Just watch your e-mail box like a hawk. Once that fateful e-mail comes in, you’re all set. When the final approval e-mail comes in, you’ll be minutes away from being official.
 
Hey traveller, will we get 2 seperate mails for both cfai/soceity approvals?
 
I didn’t get anything but the final e-mail. I simply checked my account page every day, and one day noticed the work experience had been approved and the application was under society review. A single e-mail said it’s been approved, then it was automatically both CFAI/Society to click on and pay for. Looks like CFAI and your local society are treated as one, just listed as two separate line items.

Ouch. Read the work experience submission guidelines again and try to follow them the best possible. Maybe you were too brief and need to include more detail of what you have done. In particular, the focus should be on what you have done that has assisted in the investment process. Try to write it like you would your CV.
 
Applied for membership, day after results August 13th, approved my work experience within a week, filed the PCP, paid my dues and those 3 letters appeared on CFA website on August 21st..
